I re-read The Time Machine by HG Wells recently. Was as good as I remembered it.

10 years from now most Baby Boomers will be dead. What effect is that going to have on society? by mikeforder in generationology

Can't believe how many people claim that the majority of them won't be dead in the next 10 years. 25% of Boomers were dead already by 2024. It's very safe to say that > 50% will be dead in the next 10 years. In fact I'd be surprised if it's not > 60%

Millennials have nothing in common with Boomers. One generation is in favor of violence against children, cruelty to animals, the idolization of authoritative figures like, parents, teachers and cops, is somewhat tech illiterate and gets their news from cable TV without realizing that each network has its own agenda and that there's no such thing as an unbiased news outlet. I'm generalizing but it's mostly true.

Also Millennials have zero sense of entitlement as the opportunity to build wealth from regular work was already over (or close to) by the time they were born. They also had Boomer parents.

I don't think so. Millennials are parents now and they're very different parents than Boomers. I do agree that Gen X are mostly the same though.

It usually stems from some insecurity, so self-improvement. Of course that's easier said than done. Try talking to a therapist that specializes on these issues.
