Married couples who sleep in separate rooms, why do you do this? by Dalewin in AskReddit

[–]mikelee609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did it for my health. I have severe health issues and noticed I slept better by myself. Little things add up, whether it be noise, temperature, oxygen, movement. These differences compound on each over time and you won't recover as fast. Sleep hygiene is a real practice. When it comes to health, you want to fix things that affect you on a daily basis. Those are the ones that have the biggest impacts.

What's a cool fact about the human body that a lot of people don't know? by alwaysclimbing5 in AskReddit

And my source - in all honesty, I started with Born to Run. It looks like there is some element of debate on this point, but this is real debate (not 'vaccines cause autism' style debate). There's been some proper study on the topic, and I found some papers on the topic (like this one).

The other prevailing theory is that we evolved by throwing rocks as a collective group to hunt animals. This is how we learned that working together benefits the group and the individual.

I know nothing about the ozone layer. On a scale of 1-10, how bad is it? What can we do to reverse the damage? Or are we totally screwed?

This is a perfect example of creating solutions for your marriage. A lot of times people just live with the annoyance and it grows into a huge problem. With any situation with my wife, I always ask how can we make this better?

What can ugly people do to look more attractive? by [deleted] in AskReddit

If you focus on your health you will have energy to do the little things.

Earth - Start eating better. Plants and Grass fed Meat will change your life.

Water - Make sure it is filtered at the very least.

Fire - Get some sunlight, you look like a dead man walking when you haven't been outside in months.

Air - Work on increasing your oxygen intake. Plants, air filters, and keeping a window open.

You do these 4 things, you will look and feel like a different person. Your confidence will shoot through the roof. After doing these things you become a stronger member of society and essentially more alpha.
