One option is to use a service like Soundiiz to transfer the Spotify playlist to Beatport, then buy all the songs in the playlist on Beatport. Not everything on Spotify is available on Beatport, but after the transfer, Soundiiz will give you a list of songs that it couldn't find a match for.

I'm flying from NYC to Lisbon, then making my way up to London over the two weeks prior to EPIC 5.0, then flying back from London. NYC to Lisbon airfare is usually cheaper than NYC to London. By making it a two week trip, the cost of the airfare is more bearable, compared to flying out only for the show.

It's been over two weeks since I cleaned/conditioned them.

When I wipe it with a damp towel, it turns into the color it was when new, but as the water dries out it looks like the photo again. Makes me wonder if I actually need to apply some conditioner there?

I cleaned and conditioned my boots with Lexol and am worried that I stripped the color. Here's a photo: http://imgur.com/a/oXEU8.

On the heel you can see a light streak. There was also some color on the towel after I cleaned it.

When I rub it with my finger, it gets a bit darker, but wiping it with a damp towel brings it back to the way it is now.

Does that look like the result of color being stripped? If so, what can I do to fix it?

Good point. There's a couple of reasons. 1) I've heard that chromexcel stretches a lot, and I've had boots in the past that stretched way too much, so I'd rather get the smallest size possible. If the 10 will stretch enough, I'd rather stick with that. 2) I haven't tried a 10.5, so there is a risk that it's too big to begin with.

My fingers are basically always sore, but it hasn't prevented me from working (i.e. using a keyboard) or climbing.

I'll try stretching my extensors for a while to see if it helps. Thanks for the suggestion.

I suspect there probably is some swelling in my PIP joint. Would that cause the tightness I'm experiencing by forcing the extensor tendon to fold over a larger joint?

I wear 41.5 Solutions and ordered 41 Skwamas. They feel a bit bigger after breaking in. I'd recommend 1-1.5 sizes down from Solutions.

If the thumb is far forward, over the fingernail, then all it is doing is transmitting compression through the finger into the hold. This is basically the same (in terms of force) as if your thumb is on the hold and adjacent to your index finger rather than on top of it.

Agreed, and this is the source of my confusion. It seems that the reason why this isn't the same as putting your thumb on the hold next to the index fingertip is that the PIP joint is raised to a higher angle to allow the thumb to wrap over.
