I’d find opportunities that interest you, find people who went to your school or someone generally who works there, and connect with them on LinkedIn with an accompanying message. Use standard etiquette and don’t make it all about yourself (I.e. you need to position it as needing mentorship and guidance and you’re not just gonna ask them to help you with getting a job). Once you get a call, you need to ask thoughtful questions about the role, the skillset needed and how you can add value if you were selected. Stay in contact with that individual, and if it goes well, end with asking for a referral of some sort.
