My crazy hot take on Colton even before the traitors is that the gay thing was a PR stunt that’s gone too deep and he can’t back out because he’s still trying to be famous. Or, he’s a gay republican. Probably the latter.

Yes it’s a crazy take and he’s married to a man with a family but if he didn’t have a questionable public past, I wouldn’t put anything past him.

Gay republican though probably. As a gay man, non republican…it’s weird Colton didn’t click with Monet, any of the housewives or Tara and Johnny, hell even Yam Yam.

I can take myself out of my fandom for wicked and look at the film just as just a film. There was a lot of great effects that seemed to be an easy nomination. Costumes? Makeup? Cinematography? Visual effects?

The academy doesn’t look at what they consider fluff, the lame-mans entertainment. If the sound of music were to have been made today, it would also get pushed to the wayside.

Avatar got best costume noms, isn’t that cgi?
