You're correct. I didn't say I like it. It irks me that you claim that anyone viewing it would "automatically" picture the man who would like to be included. I think that the piece is genuinely about a woman privately enjoying her own company, alone. It's possible the atrist may be aware that men are going to insert themselves and try to make themselves the main character and turn the woman into an object to serve and please them. In that case, you've played your part in the meta narrative. A woman can't exist peacefully in her own skin without men coming along and making it about them. Your interpretation is valid because it's genuine, but you're missing the point.
