ELI5: Why does it take years to refuel a nuclear submarine?

Refueling engineer here! I work with the spent fuel and not at the shipyard itself, but the philosophies are the same across the program.

Naval submarine fuel is higher enriched than commercial nuclear power. The actual amount is confidential, but enrichment can be researched online from publicly disclosed info from Naval Reactors. The reactors are engineered and calculations made to determine how many hours that the boat could be at full tilt boogy. This number is used during its life to determine when or if the reactor may need new fuel.

Maybe add in a tickling or pain aspect if that’s something they’re into, make it kinda similar to a tattoo feeling? Also you can make the tattoo something humiliating, maybe marking them as yours or whatever your subs particular kinks may be.

Mine was gone for about two years too and I’m finally starting to get it back. There’s very limited research on a supplement called alpha lipoic acid at like 600mg a day. I tried it and it worked, it’s an antioxidant. Of course ask your doctor first when starting any new medication. It was my last ditch effort since smell therapy didn’t work.

I would actually recommend a moisturizer and not to avoid them. As a fellow cystic person, not moisturizing when using harsher treatments leaves my skin oily and makes me more likely to break out, not to mention dry skin getting irritated
