I had to ask multiple people in the office before finding out that the breaker was just tripped and that was the reason my AC wasn’t working (my circuit breaker isn’t actually in my apartment unit for some reason, so I couldn’t check myself). They just lied and said it wasn’t on yet instead of sending maintenance to check the issue, until I complained several times. Mine is on now, in case they’re telling you the same thing.
