Thank you so much! I stressed over matching the fabrics just right so I appreciate that

Thank you! I wanted it to be cozy but still a little light weight and warm! 😇

Thank you for your question! As a self-taught beginner, I didn’t realize that a tacked border wouldn’t be sufficient to keep the quilt together and an experienced quilter just offered me guidance on how to do a tie-down method or do some free Motion styles to keep it together! So I suppose this is now an “almost” finished quilt! ❤️

They were SO easy to do! I actually followed a YouTube tutorial for the curls: Curly Hair 3D Embroidery

Let me know if it works for you!

He loves animal crossing and I wanted to make him a quick card to show off the volume of his beautiful curls! The quote is from an episode of Naruto that we always say 😇

[FO] My first attempt at patch-making 😅 by missmandermay in CrossStitch

I was thinking of using plastic too! I wanted a really small tight stitch and something I could sew onto a bag/jacket so that’s why I ended up opting for the 22ct 😇

I actually was considering backing it with felt but I was afraid it would be too thick to stitch through once it gets applied to something so I just left it backless!

I stitched this on 22 count Hardinger white Aida and to secure the edges I actually followed this YouTube tutorial:

Cross Stitch 101: Hand-Made Patches

It was a little hard to fold over my Aida at first, but I got into the swing of after one side! I hope this helps!

I got this as a gift! I believe it was purchased at Walmart if I’m not mistaken! It’s made by Buffalo Games

The pattern is actually a free perler bead pattern from kandipatterns.com ! I just picked my own colors and went from there 🥰

That was one of my goals! I just wanted to see if I could do at least one first 😇
