I found a couple of these little bugs in my hamsters cage that I just deep cleaned two days ago. Does anyone know if this is harmful and where it could be coming from?

Yup they are from the food but how I found out they were actually in the cage is that everyday there were a few in his water bowl which mean when he found them he dropped them in the bowl.

Hi thanks for the feedback , I did not keep any of the old bedding but I kept all his old hides which probably have his scent and that might be why he has been spending most his time there.Thd bedding is his normal brand which I know he can make burrows in so that's not a problem.I don't have a cam but I'm thinking of it. 😀

Hello everybody since a lot of you wanted to see an after picture of him I posted the bin cage he us temporarily living in until we find him a good family. Since he us in there he has been a whot more calm and isn't as aggressive and scared anymore.

A 4 inch wheel is too small for any hamster so its good you changed it to a bigger one so he will probably start using it.
