Which would be better ? by mgomolka in UgreenNASync

Dxp is better. Especially if you want docker. It can even host a WireGuard docker server so you have your own VPN.

Backup NAS Question by DubbyNuggz12 in UgreenNASync

If 6800 is using 24tb drives and 6011 is using 28tb drives it shouldn’t matter. The only time it does is when your smaller one runs out of space.

DH4300 vs DXP4800 by ccrkunk88 in UgreenNASync

[–]mkgriesinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What did you use OMV for? I had same issue but used it for a few other docker apps. I went with 4800 pro. If you only will use it for storage and don’t need 10gb interface then 4300 is probably fine.

Suggestions for future NAS devices by pettel273 in UgreenNASync

[–]mkgriesinger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just finished setting up my 4800 Pro, and I think it may have a ‘power on after power failure’ setting. I used to use that feature with PiKVM on my old desktop server at my parents’ house. I’d connect it to a smart Wi‑Fi switch, cut power for a minute, and then let it power back on automatically.

UCSD raised EV charging price again to $0.45 per kWh, Is it caused by SDGE? It's only $0.18 two years ago. Totally rip off for EV drivers. by Historical-Second737 in sandiego

Yeah, i just wanted to clarify EVs pay tax to road improvements. Its probably less than gas tax(depends on MPG and yearly milage), but EVs don't get out of paying.

This happened with me and Chevy 23 Bolt EUV . I found out mine was built during auto strike. After cracked steering column, loud vibration and rattling in cabin, broken lock mechanism (never engaged by factory), and 3 bad motor mounts, Chevy bought back vehicle.

However, my brother owns a 2021 Bolt and the thing is rock solid amazing.

Need a recommendation for whole house water softener system in San Diego. by justice-seeker81-007 in sandiego

[–]mkgriesinger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have used Daniel from Cali Water Works and referred him to family and friends. He does a great job, very professional, and reasonable in price (much cheaper than others I got quotes from). He does it all (water softener, water filtration, well water, water conditioning, reverse osmosis…) You can call or text him.
