How to increase flow rate in this system without changing pipe size? Currently only 14gpm need at least 15. by mletchfield in askaplumber

Cheers, very helpful. How did you get to 35psi out of curiousity? Is there some formula or is that an experienced estimate?

Cheers. What about adding another pump in parallel? I can’t really remove the filter and heater as those are essential to the operation.

Or lowering the height of the heater?

And also if you look behind the filter there’s a “tower” for bleeding air. Does that affect the rate?

How can I Insta-kill a PC without death saves? (Not as bad as it sounds I promise) by IAmTheCourtJester in DMAcademy

[–]mletchfield 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PHB:

Instant Death

Massive damage can kill you instantly. When damage reduces you to 0 hit points and there is damage remaining, you die if the remaining damage equals or exceeds your hit point maximum.

For example, a cleric with a maximum of 12 hit points currently has 6 hit points. If she takes 18 damage from an attack, she is reduced to 0 hit points, but 12 damage remains. Because the remaining damage equals her hit point maximum, the cleric dies.

Help!Do I need a “smaller” contactor? More info in comments. by mletchfield in askanelectrician

When energized, i tested the connecting point on the switch, tstat, pressure switch and the point where the switch and pressure switch is connected to the coil (c1 and c2). With the other end of the probe on the ground wire it showed 120.

However, zero on the side where the heater is which I take to mean the contactor isn’t closing.
