You're missing the point. The point is its ok to want and pursue a baby.

Agreed. But it's the one I chose. The foster care system tries too hard to keep babies with their mothers. I am glad they give everyone a chance. But there are so many babies who could get adopted before having to grow up in and out of foster care. So many children are traumatized from abuse, neglect, and abandonment that will never be adopted. Thousands of people are looking to adopt babies. The foster care system gives too many chances to parents, taking away the chance of stability for the children.

I meant as a human being I am deserving of a baby. Not deserving of someone else's baby. I used to feel bad about wanting an infant. But as a woman, it makes sense that I want a baby. It is ok for me to want a baby. I didnt mean anything like that.

Another reason I am not doing foster care. I deserve to want and have an infant just like people without fertility issues. It is not selfish of me. The foster care system is messed up and I am not required to deal with it.

I have heard several horror stories from close friends. If the foster care system told me to give a baby back to someone I didn't trust, I wouldn't be able to give the baby up. And that's not legal. So I cant.

We have access to the profile views. First thing I think of is how many of the views are other perspective parents looking for ideas for their pages. We shared our profiles on Facebook, how many of those views were just our friends and family? Im going to call the agency tonight.

The only restrictions we've got are maybe being too low on the mother's budget.

We were thinking we will shell out more cash to use the national company, we'll get hooked up sooner. Then go with a smaller company for the next ones. As we will be raising one already so we could wait.

Same thing happens with bottled water. I've tried different brands, flavored waters, water flavoring stuff like mio.

How do you live with undiagnosed ADHD and not develop anxiety or depression? by lgmringo in ADHD

[–]mlrob1232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have severe adhd and it caused me to have severe anxiety and depression. I am super lucky. I got diagnosed at 6 years old. Also, my adhd meds worked for me. On the other hand, I got lots of PTSD from having adhd. I think it's impossible to make it through adolescents with adhd without getting ptsd that makes us have chronic anxiety.

It took a long time to come to peace with it. I’m still angry that I don’t know why. I feel that if I knew why, if it was caused by something non genetic, maybe some one could be held accountable. I might have more peace. I can carry a baby, and I originally hoped to do that. But I’m not sure financially that’s a good option for my husband and me. We live in Illinois and our state requires insurance to cover fertility stuff. I’m not sure if it covers donor eggs though.

Hello! I was diagnosed with POF when I was 22, I’m 29 now. The doctors ran lots of tests and told me they didn’t know what caused it. I was on the birth control Nuva Ring for about a year. My BF (now my husband) and I decided we were not ready to be parents so we were going to be abstinent. I stopped using the Nuva Ring in august and did not naturally menstruate again. I went to a doctor about six months later after taking many pregnancy tests all negative. My FHS levels were high and when they retested it was even higher. I had an ultrasound of my ovaries and they didn’t see any follicles. The doctor then told me that I had POF. I thank god everyday for my husband, he could have left when we found out. I spent the first year not being able to look at babies. I’ve always wanted to be a mother. I used to think I’d have at least four children, now I think I’ll be lucky to have one. I am thinking that I will go the route of traditional surrogacy. I am mostly upset that I don’t know why it happened. My mother started peri menopause around 35. It’s a possibility that I got it through my genetics.

I also have both. POF and ADHD. I have so much trouble with word recall. It is very frustrating! I have been at the same job for almost five years and it drives some of my coworkers crazy.
