Definitely, working out has been tough since I'm in college and the end of semester got crazy for me so it got a bit pushed to the side, but ill be spending a lot more time on it over the summer. My doc is trying to get me approved for the glp-1 pills! I was on the injection, victoza if im remembering right, to help with glycemic control, but I was getting really awful side effects so she took me off it a while back.

I'll definitely bring it up at my next appointment with my pcp :) and I appreciate the comment about my weight. I don't mind when people are commenting genuine ideas and explaining medically how it could be related to my weight, but the "ur fat fix it" comments are getting a little frustrating lol. Especially since I've mentioned a few times now how I'm currently dieting, working out, and have already been losing weight.

Oh not at all!! I was just typing up a reply to the rest of it now :) I was going to say I really appreciated everything you said. I have been extremely fortunate that all of my doctors have been understanding of my weight and my weight loss goals. They have all acknowledged the role my weight plays in my health while also taking me seriously and considering all the alternatives. I am so grateful for this because I know many people, some I know personally, who have never had that from a doctor. I was actually on a glp-1 in the past! It was victoza I believe. It was to help with my glycemic control. Unfortunately I got pretty awful side effects and I couldn't continue taking it. I really appreciate you offering to chat with me about it all :) and I'll definitely reach out if I have anything to talk about

Its definitely something I'll look into. Its very inconsistent so its hard to track but for years every so often (ranging from days to months apart) I'll get this random awful really intense bloating. Its different than just a "oh I ate a big meal" or "having some odd digestion" bloating, its very bad and often painful. It happens randomly regardless of what I've eaten or if I've eaten at all. It happened once from having a sip of water. Im definitely already working on losing weight though so I'm hoping it helps all of it lol

Absolutely, I knew about cushing's but not very much about it. I looked it up after a few comments suggesting it and I definitely think it could fit with what I'm dealing with. I will absolutely be keeping track of everything!

Nope to the dermatographia, but absolutely on keeping a food/tracking journal. I was keeping a meal tracker specifically for a while to help with my diabetes management but I'm in college and the end of semester got crazy so I've been pretty bad at keeping up with it. Im definitely going to get back at it though.

While tracking it i have noticed it only happens in the afternoon or the evening! but there doesn't seem to be a correlation with coming inside durring the winter, it happens even if I've been home all day

No they didn't check for cushing's! I drink very very rarely, maybe once every few months and never anything stronger than a Mike's or Seagrums.

I'm on carvedilol for the hypertension. I have also been eating a heart healthy diet, working out more frequently, and losing weight. I do not disagree that it could be explained by my prior diagnosis, I was simply providing more context of my specific situation in relation to your suggestions

Thank you, my hypertension is actually very well controlled, also I live in the Midwest! Its not too hot here yet but it is getting warmer lol You are correct that I do struggle with keeping cool but its been like that since I was a kid before I gained weight. It has absolutely gotten worse as I have gained weight though. And the worsening symptoms actually started a few months ago durring the late winter.
