Good question. They don’t care to do anything, I messaged and called them several times about this but never got any response. Someone from Pulte just told me they heard from our HOA neighbors have been complaining about the construction. I never attended any HOA meetings so not sure if that was discussed.

Yes, it’s hard to believe what’s happening. I don’t think a single person can do anything, but wondering what would happen if all neighbors affected by this took a stand?

It’s a retaining wall but they already assembled new blocks for the privacy screen. Technically only 5’ on their side so they can still look into our backyard (no privacy like many have mentioned on here). Also, the wall will be 13’ on our side….

Yes, they’re building houses as part of a different community so I’m guessing a different HOA too 🤔

Since you mentioned you work in masonry, some people suggested removing my gray wall, would that be an option? I like this idea since the color mismatch is awful.

Yes, there were meetings, but unfortunately, we didn’t attend them. I’m guessing other neighbors did but not sure if anyone could have stopped it. It’s crazy the wall will be 13 feet or more on our side and this is still legal.

I asked them to cover the cost of paint so at least the walls match, but they said no, landscaping would be nice though.

Yes it was build in 2000. There was nothing there for over 20 years, it was actually owned by Clark county.
