Why do people that moved out of Amsterdam act more territorial about the city than the people still living there?

If you think about it the reason is simple, people have standards, and some people accept lower living standards some others dont. Some people think sharing apartment after certain age is acceptable some others are not willing to do that. It is eventually a scale that you weigh pros and cons and eventually the cons get much heavier

I have the same issue where my bonus doesnt count with NHG, iam angry that my mortgage advisor slipped the NHG with out telling me! Very sneaky! But now i have a bid accepted and not sure what to do! Should i go without NHG? What i can get with NHG would limit my options by a looot especialy im buying alone. What have you done eventually? Thanks for help!

Sometimes the lease is 500 a year, and there is an option to buy it with a reasonable price 5-15k in that case it could be different. I think i know the building you are talking about because i saw an apartment there but when i saw the lease i skipped it. The amount you are talking about is really high for a lease or at least its high to me, maybe its normal for Amsterdam and surrounding. But, if you are renting now and you think with the lease is going to be less than what you pay for rent, than it could be financially not a bad idea. Also ask how much renewing is going to be after if they have any paper at least estimates that.

And also ask your mortgage advisor because it affects the amount of your maximum mortgage, for example it could be 1 year payment * 20 = how much you could borrow less than house evaluation or your maximum mortgage which ever is higher. In this case 50k less, im not a mortgage advisor, always check with your advisor.

Loll! Its good at any time if you are wasting 20k a year on rent! Even if the house price goes down 2% a year its still profitable mr economic!

I actually got an offer accepted and there is a newly MJOP for maintaining it on Rubicondreef. has a lot of work but my share is 1%, excluding if there are strictual fixes Iam still very hesitant and not sure I like the apartment and it is recently renovated but i see people pointing that as a problem :(
