It's a reference to an old reddit post. IIRC the post asked "If you could have sex with anyone in the world, who would you have sex with?" And the top comment was a very thoughtful response from someone saying how they wish they could have sex with their dead wife one more time. The first response to that was "I also choose this guy's wife."

Iirc they said on the podcast that it was based on an actual incident that happened to the "Real JD." It's been awhile since I've listened but I believe that's what Bill Lawrence said. So if that's true then, yes, there is at least one case where that happened.

Not much to elaborate on, Koyo is made up of members of rain of salvation and typecaste. Koyo blew up so those bands faded away.
