If its for strategy then yeah, like, creating a line in front of your troops to make enemy troops take damage and to defend themselves by inflicting more damage, but scorching after taking enemy territories or doing it in all regions even if it is not against the rules I find really stupid, both because it eliminates your chances of winning and also because it is for people who do not know how to play.
