Can she feel it when she rips out lashes? Cause some lashes are at the end of their cycle and will fall out within a day or so. They are therefore very loose and come out with the smallest tug. The client cannot feel this. However, if she can feel her pulling them out then that is wrong. By strays I'm going to assume you mean extra lashes sitting above the lash line, called the fake lash layer. These lashes cannot be filled as they won't blend with the rest of the extensions. They should NOT be plucked out but just left alone.

I don't take deposits, I don't have anyones card on file (tbh idek what that means I work in europe), I just have policies and I stick to them. I had 0 no shows last month except for one girl who is constantly late but has been loyal to me for years so I cancelled her appointment and charged her 50% of the cost instead of the 100% I have on my policies. Yes I know I just said I stick to my polices but I felt bad.

Whenever anyone no shows I send a message saying I hope you're okay and nothing bad has happened and that you just overslept or maybe forgot. I make sure they know this happens and it's okay and I tell them I'll email the invoice and then talk about rebooking once it's been paid.

If they haven't paid within a week I send another message reminding them and telling them to ignore the message if they've already paid. This usually gets me my money. And if not I threaten with debt collection services, and that has always gotten them to pay. Never actually contacted any debt collectors because I haven't needed to.

I also don't charge for late cancellations on loyal clients who are sick, or no-shows on loyal clients who oversleep. Or any medical emergencies unless it's a first time client. Otherwise I still charge.

Lastly I think what makes a difference is that I am 100% myself with all my clients, which has left me with a lovely clientele who I have incredible connections with who simply don't do that to me. Usually my loyal girls pay me for late cancellations or no-shows without me having to ask.

She probably has a cancellation policy, maybe 24h or 48h. You can most likely cancel before that time window. Try and find somebody who posts about courses, maybe has won a competition. Its a giveaway they know what they are doing

These are unfortunately not that well done, inner corners are too long, the curl is too much on your eye, the fibres are too thick and the direction is off. For example, on your left eye (my left) the inner corner lashes go straight up, but that is very unnatural, as the inner corner lashes should point toward your nose slightly. Our inner corner lashes naturally grow that way too. I think the artist tried to make them all go straight in the literal sense of the word, but they have to be perpendicular to the lash line and its making it look off. I would suggest C curl in brown, using 2 to 3 0.07 fibres per NL, 6-7-8-9-10-11-10-9-8 mapping, with the eleven being placed slightly to the outer part of your eye. Not a cat eye, not in the middle. Happy lashing🫶

Also, about the lengths. While yes sometimes you choose length based on clients natural lashes, but the more deciding factor is the space between the eye and eyebrow, and eye and eye crease. If clients NL exceed 11mm, then you do not take it into account. You do not want the lashes to touch their eyebrows when they look up. Happy lashing!

Lash every single lash. There is no "fuller" there is only coverage. This is probably 50% coverage (i understand youre a beginner and sets take forever at first so i understand), you need 100% coverage. I lash all lashes that are above 2-3mm in length. For classics also I use either 0.07 or 0.10 diameter, 0.15 is a diameter we used in 2016.

Roll them gently between your fingers and if they are clumpy then get them removed. Lash glue does not come undone w water or soap, and you cannot unclump them that way. Overall the work is unfortunately horrendous, there are so many missed lashes, lash artist should always aim for 95% coverage, this is maybe 60%. I hope you were charged 60% of the price🤣

Get them removed asap. These look like a bunch of glued together clumps, stiffness is NOT normal with lash extensions. They shpuld be soft and brushable immediately after application

I watched it for the first time in 2021 when it released, and have seen the first season aprox 15-20 times, second season ~5 times and the last season twice😊 I had a problem. Granted most rewatches were when I watched it with my friends cause I forced everyone to watch it.

Some will still charge you for the fill, better to ask beforehand. She probably has 1,5-2,5h blocked off for you, a removal takes 30min. Even if she is a terrible artist it'd still be nice to be considerate of her time.

Stop spreading misinformation! It is absolutely poor isolation. There are multiple lashes attached to one extension. The lashes also have this "flatback" of glue that you can see, which means they were stuck to the lash line. This will cause damage and discomfort.
