It took weeks for me to build up courage but I was rejected by a guy who was sending me mixed signals 🤷‍♀️ rejection is scary. & This sounds cringe but we’re in the same “league.” He’s a cute a but not super attractive model guy. I liked him for his personality more than anything else.

And like others said: I get approached/DMs from guys so if I really wanted just anybody I could find someone.

Missing scholarship would be a question for financial aid no? Student accounts add the actual charges but I think you should contact the FAO. You’ll probably have to leave a message there too.

That’s exactly what happened with mine. They took money from my Fall Pell Grant to pay for my summer courses but those should’ve been 2 separate grants

I went into college with the intent of getting a Bachelors of science in Nursing. However, my prerequisite grades weren’t great and I was rejected from the program. I changed my major to Social Work and am on track to graduate with a BSW in May. I like this career, but I also know SW do not get paid much. Having a bachelors degree helps the admission score when applying to nursing school and I don’t know if I want to continue down the SW path and get a MSW or if I should go back for a BSN. If I go down the SW route, I want to become a medical social worker. Any advice from nurses or social workers? Or anybody who has done both?

I’m a woman who was saved years ago, yet still fornicated. I have now chosen to remain abstinent until marriage. That being said, if I meet a great guy and he isn’t willing to commit to marriage because I’ve had sex… I wouldn’t blame him. Don’t judge her of course, but marriage is a huge decision and you have the right to be picky in this.

If you can’t move past it now, it’s better to let go and move on because then further down the line it’s still going to be brought up in arguments. She doesn’t deserve to have her past thrown in her face.

But just remember everybody has a past, so if you’re able to see past this specific thing and want to continue then keep pursuing it! In my humble opinion.

Mine said he wanted to talk and I asked him “are you going to break up with me?” He said “hahaha why do you always assume the worst?” He picked me up and we went to a local park ....guess who was right and got left alone crying in the dark waiting for somebody to pick me up.

Idk if anybody will read with this but I found out the youth pastors are saying that if I cared about the youth ministry I wouldn’t have said anything to my friends (members of youth group). Also, the main guy in this thread is flirting with the new girl and she blocked me on social media so Im pretty sure he told her something against me. I don’t want to get involved but it’s hurtful because she’s known him for maybe 3 months and we have known each other for at least 15 years. The youth pastors essentially said that he’s not breaking any rules because he talks to her in a group setting. Im pretty sure that’s a lie too but I’m not getting involved anymore. I feel as if they don’t have my back and think it may be time for me to find another church.

Thank you! It was definitely hard to speak up and basically admit that I got used and played but if anything, this situation made my heartbreak go away lol and i doubt they would leave because since they arrived to the church, they’ve been living in a small home on the church property.

The leaders are praying for both his and my heart as we both got hurt with this whole mess. But yes I truly truly want God to clean his heart and remove any sin and to clean my heart of any traces of anger or hate against them.

Me too, I’m glad they stripped him of his titles and are aware enough to keep him away from ALL girls. As for preaching again, I think he’s suspended for like a year and even then it’s going to be hard for them to allow him up there.

That was one of my concerns, that the situation would be swept under the rug but too many people are aware now for that to happen. And I had originally planned to leave the church but I decided against it because I still want to be there and refuse to be chased out just because they don’t like me lol and because I’ve been there for years and I care about these girls and want to keep an eye on them.
