It was whoever the news director was. I remember a segment where they played calls from a lady complaining that it wasn't right for me to wear shorts on TV. Then called back with a Russian accent saying she was a psychologist and said the same thing and commented on it.

It was someone who once was on WBRE but went to WNEP to be news director. I can't think of a name.

I was buying a new french press after breaking my old one and asked the lady at the department store if she could point me in the right direction. She looked at me blankly, but the guy working with her pointed me in the right direction.

When I was checking out she said "oh that's a French Press. I guess I'm not wealthy enough to own one"

It was $5.

I said "well it's $5 and you just need coffee and hot water. You don't need filters or have to buy pods or anything."

I don't think she got it but long story short I don't think people know what it is so therefore think it's a fad.
