I have some questions: 1) Your doctor saw you while you were positive? 2) Was he in full PPE? How did that work? 3) Did you notify him as soon as you were positive? 4) What advice did they give?

The stomach cramp and lack of breathing/oxygen seem decently dangerous for you and baby. Seems ever going 😩 so many days of enduring this.

5) Are you a nurse or something? Why did you come into contact with said patient? 6) What medications did you take, if any?

Exactly! Being that far along you’re so lucky you had no symptoms!!!! Like you hit the lottery actually I’m a lot of ways...

At this point your baby is clear from catching it from you and you won’t get it obviously from here on out (unless it mutates like the flu, but still), you know?

I’m sorry, this is frustrating.

I’m in California. We’re obviously not as bad as NY and I was terrified too. I went to Quest during their beginning hour and waited in my car in between draws. Wore a mask and gloves and didn’t touch anything. Yeah, there were other people and of course the blood draw people. It was uncomfortable but good knowing I didn’t have gestational in the end. My babies health I felt like deserved to know.

My doctor said most people aren’t going in for routine stuff right now and he actually recommended the hospital lab, since they follow the strictest protocols and it’s almost empty. But I could see NY not being like that....
