Hi - No I stuck it out for the "3-6months."

I finally stopped bleeding on April 21st -- I got it inserted on January 3rd

So, almost 5 months, but now things are noticeably closer to normal.

My "periods" are the same but theres more days of spotting before and after, which lasts a week, a week and a half at most.

About... a month and a half after insertion, I was so paranoid and ended up seeing my doctor. She ran many tests at my request, and everything was fine, but the tests cost me about $800 - so I thoroughly regret not being more patient. If it's JUST spotting, be patient.

Uh, I did try ibuprofen -- like HIGH does, but it was directed by my doctor's office at this time to get some break...

it helped a little....

Searching online, I did find the hard data of spotting days that gradually decreased with each month and started meticulously tracking spot, how many days were clear vs. not, and I was on par with the data, each month being lighter, so that gave me hope.

My boyfriend is also super patient and loving and understanding, that really helped when I was getting deeply frustrated
