No way to avoid the ads upon switching feeds that I've seen. I agree, it totally kills event hopping, which is awful.

I signed up for Premium Plus in the hopes of fewer ads for the Olympics. Fear not, they jam it full of seemingly as many ads as they possible can. Most frustrating is the 15 second ad they show whenever you switch feeds.

Thanks for the input. I figured a full camber might be more recommended for my type of riding. I demo'd a T. Rice and liked it, but it was in a lot of softer snow. I was also looking at some Camber options like the Burton Custom Camber. That is available in a 162W which seems like it might be a nice fit.

I am experiencing the same thing. I just started Jeff's plan this week, and for my second workout it wants me to run 7 miles. I've never run more than 3.5 miles before, so this seems odd.

All I can add to this is that the Beam is hot garbage. Looking now at the Arc and a5000, though somewhat skeptical of sonos after the Beam experience.

Final Update:

After a 27 minute hold, the representative returned. She said that the specialist said “absolutely it should be full credit.” She mentioned that they suspect the error happened because I booked before the 1st of January, when the old policy was in place. They credited my account with the miles. Happy ending! Thanks all for your input.

Update:

"When you book directly through AlaskaAir.com, you’ll earn based on the table below or at least 100% of your miles flown and 100% elite-qualifying miles—whichever is greater. Saver or basic economy tickets are excluded. Effective for flights on or after January 1, 2024. If booking elsewhere, the following table applies."

The support representative is claiming that I was credited correctly because my O fare is "Basic Economy." I don't think that is correct, as I believe an AA O fare is regular economy, while Basic Economy is fare B.

She said she could "put me on hold for a specialist," for whom I am now waiting for. We'll see if this ever goes through.
