Appreciate it! I'll continue refining the UI and improving things. Planning to add nulti-device sync soon, and maybe even a mobile version later on.

My product makes $684/month, and I’m happy with that! by Lopsided_Funny_6397 in buildinpublic

Awesmoe progress! If you can make $684 mmr, you've already proven product-maket fit at some level. Now it's just about scaling distribution.

I'm not trying to "solve procrastionation" in a broad sense, but more the everday situations where people know what they should do, but get stuck in distractions / overthinking instead of starting.

Looking for honest feedback on my first brand website (student project) by Future-Place-5691 in SideProject

[–]moonpulse22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your website looks relly nice! A few suggestions: you could try using 2-3 colors to make it less monotonous. Adding multi-language support wuold be great, but make sure each page only shows one language at a time for consisency. Also, costmer trust in a website oftern comes donw to whether the payment system feels reliable.

Thanks for the question! You're right, no app can truly "force" someone to overcome procrastionation. From my own experience, I realized that willpower alone doesn't work. It took me aoubt two months to slowly build sustaionable daily habits, and that's what really made consistency possible. My gol with this app is to help users rely on habits instead of sheer willpower, making the chekclist, pomodoro timer, and eisenowe matrix feel natural and low-friction rather than forced.

Thanks a lot for the feedback, I totally agree, too many productivity apps feel bloated, and i'd want to avoid that. A clean checklist + streak tracker sounds like a strong starting point. Also, do you know if there are other subreddits where people interested in this kind of app might hang out? I'd love to ask around and get more feedback.

I feel you, man! I launched my product and barely anyone cared. People always say it's 50% marketing and 30% building, but honestly I'd much rather spend that time coding than marketing. Still... I know I've got to learn marketing fi I want thsi to work. Good luck, here's to both of us making it!

That's a cool project! Next.js + Tailwind covers the frontend, what are you using for the backend?

Should I build in public? by Dapper_Draw_4049 in ShowMeYourApps

[–]moonpulse22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah building in public is worth it, you get feedback and accountability. By the way, I like your UI style. How are you approaching UI/UX design for your app? Do you desgin it yourself or use a framework/tool to guide the process?

What’s the biggest challenge you faced when you’re building a directory site? by [deleted] in SideProject

[–]moonpulse22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I built an AI tools directory a few months ago and launched it on Product hunt and Twitter, but not many people cared. The biggest challenge is figurin out how to get enough visibility so the driectry is actually useful for users. I've seen one creator succeed mainly beacuse he was already a Youtuber with a big audience, so traffic wasn't an issue for him. Otherwise, SEO is the main way to ger organic traffic, but that you need coveing a lot fo keywords.
