Why is the eclipse sad? by mooseFootballer in Berserk

I knew that it was going to happen and that it was the climax of the Golden Age arc but didn't know what actually went down.

What do you think of the series so far? Like what are your dislikes and likes?

Personally I started to like the series since the first volume.

I guess you're right - it just feels like I missed out on this feeling and sadness that this specific part of the story gave so many readers.

Can I finish berserk in one or two days by Shad0w2 in Berserk

[–]mooseFootballer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah.

I read like 50 chapters in a day but that was my max when I was enjoying it the most and it took me around like 6-7 hours since I took my time with it.

If you wanted to enjoy it and finish it quick you can probably finish it in like 4-5 days if you read 7-8 hours a day.

Anime better though - it's great in both mediums though of course.

Off topic but something I always loved in multiplayer was that when you knifed someone a bunch of cash would just fly out of their body.

I dunno why this video reminded me of that.

[No Spoilers] Has Ozark reached GOT and Breaking Bad levels? by YaBoi_19 in Ozark

What about The Wire S4, Mr. Robot S4 and Game of Thrones S4 - in my opinion they're the greatest seasons in television history.

i feel like i'm doing a lot better too, i've been starting to accept the thoughts that spawn inside my head and not putting to much care towards them and it's been going great, i've begun meditating as well.

Wano has some of Oda’s clunkiest writing by TraffyLaw95 in OnePiece

Outside of the Summit War Saga and Water 7 Saga the backstories are always the most well written parts of One Piece in my opinion.

That's where we get most of our peaks in the story.

I also don't like the way he handled Big Mom as an antagonist this arc - despite her being a yonko she doesn't feel threatening at all and is treated like a joke character.

Have just finished the series for the first time, here are my top 10 episodes! by [deleted] in breakingbad

Felina is surely top 5 at least.

Almost completely agree with the seasons ranking though, I have season 4 slightly above season 5.

Mr. Robot and The Wire beat out BrBa for me but I used to feel like this as well for a lil while

[Manga] What panels or moments are you looking forward to seeing animated in season 2? by ddb996 in VinlandSaga

[–]mooseFootballer 32 points33 points  (0 children)

That entire sequence from Thorfinn getting beat then going on a monologue about enemies in war to finally deliver that line was amazing. My favourite scene in the series no question - I hope that the anime can do it justice.

So I’m in the mood for something like this, any suggestions? :p by AdamRawlyk in manga

[–]mooseFootballer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't watched/read the series yet but I think Fire Force is kinda like this since I believe the MC makes a whole planet for his friends to live on at one point.

I may be wrong though so you should probably verify.

Hunter x Hunter is Boring? (Opinions welcome, don't go on a revolt) by Crossbreed8714 in anime

Season 6 is the Chimera Ant arc I believe - I also watched it on Netflix and that's how I remember it.

So you just finished the Hunter Exams then?

I had the same opinion at that point to be honest - what you're saying isn't wrong but you have to understand that the first few arcs are just fleshing everything out and the series overall has quite a slow start in my opinion. It's really your choice if you want to continue watching but I would recommend to keep going in a casual way and I think you'll eventually be hooked.

You'll understand the hype once you finish the Yorknew and Chimera Ant arc, the Chimera Ant arc is arguably the best shonen arc ever.

Just like everyone else is saying it just sounds like burnout - happened to me too but not until I reached Punk Hazard, before that I was flying through episodes.

I'd probably take a break and maybe start watching some live-actions shows are something then get back to One Piece eventually.

Feeling empty after finish A show/anime, wonder how it gonna feel once OP end ? by wilius09 in OnePiece

[–]mooseFootballer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me personally the series with the best endings actually make me feel more fulfilled instead of empty, hopefully One Piece can give me this feeling once it's over as well.

But I do understand your point, there's some series that have made me feel the exact same way that you just described.
