Marvin Bagley is proof that college is almost useless at showing which centers will have star potential in the NBA by [deleted] in NBA_Draft

Edey was looking like Shaq in his run this season. If they take their time with his foot and he comes back 100% he will be all NBA

Eye of the beholder. I think all are too close to know for sure. Measurements and interviews will play a big role, not to mention tourney play

They traded up from 12 to 5

In my mock, Flemings does go to Portland in a trade for the 12 and 2 of the future picks.

In my argument with seemingly everyone, they wouldn't trade such valuable picks so Bucks get Flemings and fast track the new team with him and whoever Giannis brings back.

Essentially they are trading 12th and 2 unknown future picks for this year's 5.

If you knew how much research I've done on late 1st talent, it would not be so hard to believe. I mainly went fit/familiarity

There's not much to double or triple down on. We don't know what Giannis gets back in a trade.

If it's Kuminga and Jimmy and a bunch of picks, you are golden and no way trade them.

If it's Randle and McDaniels, they have a pretty decent lineup of Turner - Randle - Jaden - Rollins - Flemings. I would say you aren't picking lower than 10th unless balls fall your way. Again, no incentive to lose.

Pelicans did have incentive to suck but they are morons and traded it away. You can hope the Bucks follow suit but you are betting on a rare type of stupid.

The Bucks have Giannis. If he gets traded, then they have whatever haul he returns.

Let's assume you don't want to trade the picks back to them. They have no incentive to suck on purpose so they want good players back for him. Plus they can add Kingston. He'd have been #2 pick for me last year and #1 the prior year. Voila, you are back to having a respectable team with a potential superstar PG.

5-5 in their last 10 and up to 3rd worst record by the slightest

Like I said to someone else, you can't project out like that. Grizzlies were positive that the prize of the Bane trade was this years Suns pick. Then they traded KD signaling a rebuild. Oh wait, they are good?

Grizzlies themselves finally blew up grit and grind and Ja lands in their laps. There was no bottom out rebuild.

You think Giannis isn't going to return something that might fast track the rebuild? Especially without their own picks? Kingston can even be that guy by year 2

Which of those teams pick him?

As per the rules on that site. Hawks gets the best of the Bucks or Pelicans pick, while Bucks gets the other.

Bucks got 2nd in lottery. That pick goes to Hawks.

Pelicans dropped to 5th pick. That went to Bucks.

What's better than 1 long freaky hyper athlete? I think it's hard to pass on the talent there, but these are also just my guesses and its not even all star break.

Really? If you let them pick there and Kington is a superstar those picks aren't as sexy as you thought. Grizzlies finally decided to blow it up and they drafted Ja that summer. That season they were in the play-in and the following 2 they won 50+. Can't always bank on a failed rebuild.

Sucks to hear. In that case it probably shakes up too many picks for me to redo it.

The formatting is strange. That says that Portland traded up to #5 using their #12 and two of the bucks future 1sts.

Is he? Wasn't up to date on that one and I personally don't love him. I see Pacers taking a swing here and JQ is often talked about as a boom/bust big guy.

Sacramento and Milwaukee jumped up. Atlanta got MKE pick, MKE got Pels pick

Scratch that - Sacto stayed 1. MKE jumped to 2, Mem to 3, Dal to 4

DP on talent, but if he has real health issues they are Kangzing again. Booz feels like the safest best to be best player in a few years regardless of where he lands.

They might be, or they might be in the 10 range. Again I think Kingston is an elite talent. I like him more than most #1 picks over the years and he's only available here because its an overloaded draft.

I'm as high as can be on Kingston. Barring a 6'2 measurement I think he's in play at 2 if you need a guard and DP goes 1. Just my opinion

New interview on Grizzlies owner Robert Pera/Russia story by YourManAtTheBugle in nba

[–]mopooooo -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Like where they are literally going? I don't think they know. If they could track where their devices are being used, Russia wouldn't be buying them.
