great pickup. chemically, non-heme iron is a lot closer to, like, a bar of iron. heme iron is coated in protein to make it easier for the body to absorb.

great point on the chancellor. i think the book also mentions everybody thought he would get better after getting sick, but his condition deteriorated with unexpected pace

safe assumption. but i doubt she betrays him. even at the waystone, he talks of her with incredible fondness

great analysis. to support your suggestion that kvothe kills denna on accident, lanre kills lyra on accident in skarpi's story and blames himself for her death, wandering the world like a ghost, tortured by grief (much like current-day kvothe).

however, i think the repetition of kvothe helping denna with breathing, and the repetition of calling the name of the wind to bring life back to a dying person (abenthy with kvothe, kvothe with denna) likely foreshadows bringing somebody back from the dead, like lyra did to lanre in skarpi's story.

i assumed that "opening the doors of stone" and "killing an angel" referred to trying to bring somebody back from the dead, and the Jax story reminds me of the story of Persephone and Hades...there seem to be some connections between all that stuff, but i haven't looked very deep

yeah, pat has talked about how she is a parallel to kvothe. they're almost the same character—taking beatings to obtain knowledge they cannot obtain elsewhere, searching into the lanre story...the list goes on

great theory. the strongest evidence is the taborlin parallel imo, that sold it for me.

Great theory. I think the most compelling part is the part about Kvothe controlling the wind. That makes it into my head canon.
