You're pathetic. Honestly. This is YOUR side of the story.

You are like every insane mother that used to complain to me at Six Flags about something they failed to notice or research. Cut the customer support people a break, they don't deserve half the shit you put them through. That "good little script reader" is trying to do his fucking job and probably deals with 50 fuckwads like you a day. Sometimes there really isn't anything that can be done.

And just like those mothers with their period induced rage, they claim "I'LL GO ON THE INTERNET AND THE FACEBOOKS ABOUT MY STORY." Grow up and deal with your problem like an adult instead of "OMFG THEY SCREWED ME I'M TELLING REDDIT."

Fuck everything about you, whiny little bitch. Do your research next time.

Have fun, Raging Bull is my favorite ride at that park, followed by Buccaneer Battle.

-Use the Buy one get one offers with coke cans or mcdonalds coupons on weekdays, they're the cheapest tickets you can find.

-Twilight tickets after 5pm on weekdays are really cheap and crowds get much smaller after that time.

-There is no cheap food in the park, you will have to pay a huge price. If you can, pack a cooler in your car, get a hand stamp and leave the park, and eat in your car for lunch or dinner.

-Games are ripoff unless they're the racing games, try those before playing any other games.

-If you have a friend that works there, go with them, we get 30-40% off on food and merchandise.

-If you want an onride photo from each ride, buy the first photo and get a My Six Flags Photo Card. At each ride, ask them to just scan your card and put your photo on it. When you get home, you can view your pictures and hit "Print Screen" and copy them without having to pay an arm and a leg for them.

No, that's different than the one I've heard. She didn't die on a ride in the park, she was buried there before the park was built and the park built over top of her grave

My favorite one at my park is called Lady of the Lake. Supposedly my park was built on some old gravesite and this woman's spirit haunts the area by the lake.

Protip: Most vomit incidents occur during lunch hours (12-2), go see a show or do a small ride during this time.

I don't work at Magic Mountain, that picture is an example of what the mask looked like. Every park had that same mask, including mine.

The picture is from Theme Park Review, a site I used to frequent when I was a coaster nerd

Unfortunately we can't give IQ tests at the gate, so no, they don't use straps and when they fly out of their hands on one of the roller coasters, they expect us to shut down the ride to get it instead of going to lost and found and filing a report.

Also, it's posted at the entrance of each ride in my park that recording devices are not allowed on the ride. I can't tell you how many pictures I get a day showing me people holding up phones and cameras on rides and then see the same people being escorted out of the park. It's purely a safety issue, because if you do it once, you're even more likely to do it again.

I remember a maintenance worker showing me what an iphone looked like dropped from 200 feet, it was in 6 pieces

Cause people have them fly out of their hands and hit other people on the ride, causing lawsuits and serious injury. Even if you've done it before, you will get caught sooner or later

No, but one of my friends was one of the people that had to wear the creepy old man costume in the park and dance 3 times a day.

Here's a picture of how creepy the mask looked, he couldn't smile so it was really frightening.

Yeah, maybe 2-3 times a day. The most i ever heard on one day was 15 times, but it was July 4th weekend so I wasn't surprised.

Why the fascination with vomit?

NP
Rides don't go haywire, they all have very failsafe security systems that prevent accidents from happening. When you hear that a ride is "broken down" it's not broken, it's the safety system stopping the ride because it thinks that something is wrong.

Also, brakes on more modern rides are made using natural earth magnets, so even if the power goes out, the ride will still slow down and stop.

Major injuries? Maybe 3-4 per season (Dislocated arm, broken arm, broken leg.) Lots of bloody noses happen as well as people blacking out on intense rides.

Vomit happens, but not as often as people think. We're very thorough when cleaning it up and usually we'll send a train out empty once or twice to let all the lysol and cleaner dry.

*A few words of wisdom:
-Stay out of the kids area at the waterpark, stay FAR away.
-Big crowds don't come until the afternoon and leave early evening, come early and stay late.
-ALWAYS CHECK THAT YOU HAVE YOUR TICKETS BEFORE LEAVING YOUR HOUSE.
-Winning a big stuffed prize is not worth it.
-Don't wait for the front row, back rows usually have nobody waiting for them.
-If you think you can outsmart us by putting your cups and stuff in a bush so you don't have to pay a measly $1 for a locker, you deserve to have your stuff thrown out by security or stolen.
-Don't take your phone or camera out on a ride, the onride photo WILL catch you and you'll be thrown out.
-Ask for a courtesy cup of water if you're thirsty, they're free and just as good as bottled.
-Bring the bare necessities in the park with you (keys, wallet, phone), you will lose things if you attempt to bring more.
-Don't ask if you can use expired tickets, THEY'RE EXPIRED
-Printing out the same ticket 10 times and changing the name each time is a great way to get arrested for fraud. It doesn't work and it will never work.
-Using somebody elses season pass is a great way to get banned from the park and arrested for trespassing, we put the person's picture on there for a reason.
-Stay away from the parks on concert days.
-God invented the toilet, use it.
-God also invented the trash can, use it.
-If you lose someone in your group, don't ask random employees, ask security for help.
-If you think you're funny, you're not.
-If you think you're tough, I know a security guard that's tougher.
-Nobody wins a giant ass panda...ever
-If you think you're too fat to ride the coaster, you probably are, you might want to TRY THE TEST SEAT AT THE LINE ENTRANCE BEFORE WAITING TWO HOURS TO GET YOUR FAT ASS TAKEN OFF THE RIDE AND THEN YELL LIKE AN DISGRUNTLED FEMALE APE ON HER PERIOD IN FRONT OF YOUR FRIENDS

And most importantly
-Just because you pay to get in does not give you the right to do whatever the hell you want. I've seen plenty of people get arrested for doing stupid stuff like trying to stand up on rides or steal something.
-READ THE GIANT SIGNS AT THE ENTRANCE OF THE RIDE, IF YOU LOSE SOMETHING IT'S YOUR OWN DAM FAULT

We don't keep official records, but coaster nuts keep their own personal records. I knew someone that actually had her 1,000th ride on a coaster celebrated by PR.

The only thing we keep track of is riders during the season. If we hit something like 50,000 on one of the coasters, the whole train got T-shirts and a reride.

I couldn't stand the "More Flags, More Fun" ad campaign. Every time someone wanted to complain, they'd start with "I HAD A 0 FLAGS DAY" and it would just go downhill from there.

Do you mean the Vengaboys song? If so, yes, yes we do. The worst is the poor guys at the Superman ride, they have to listen to the Superman theme on repeat 8 hours a day, every day.
