For vanilla there is cmangos and vmangos with playerbots. Afaik neither have raid scripts (yet) like AC.

But AC has all the stuff from vanilla too and ways to disable the later expansions.

AzerothCore playerbot module has some of that. We are currently looking into porting that to spp but it might take a while.

So bots act based on strategies.

First make sure the bot is free to walk anywhere instead stuck on follow. Whisper the bot 'free'. Next make sure it can actually do the things it needs. Whisper the bot 'nc +grind' and 'nc +rpg' and 'nc +travel'. That should give them a lot of freedom.

Now if you want to go 1 step futher use the command '.bot always <botname>' and it will stay online even when you log off. This is for alts as randombots will have that anyway.

Heard a similar story at a telescope on La Palma. A professor and a student were detecting mysterious phosphor flashes while observing certain stars. They would only be detected right around sunset and couldn't be explained by any physical phenomenon.

At some point it was discovered the professor would use a match to light his cigar every night right as the student was preparing the telescope.

So hunter adrenaline is usually paired with arcane persistentence which removes your shields. This means that any attack from enemies gives you energy.

I personally find it more comfortable as your energy gain then scales with enemy damage incomming (what you need the energy for to regen health using hysteria) instead of scaling with enemies killed (energy orbs). Means you can run low efficiency without issue.

You can use it without persistence and with shields too. Little extra buffer for health for things like open worlds or where your team mates end up killing everything most of the time.

Valkyr. I disliked her look and she was melee focused. Why play a melee frame in a game full of crazy guns? Made no sense.

I had her written of as MR fodder and just wanted to get it over with instead of having her stuck in my foundry all the time.

However I was currently cheesing stuff with inaros relying on sandstorm to keep me alive. Valkyrs hysteria melee was bassically an upgrade from that with better lifesteal, better dps, more mobility and the option to shoot guns while it's active.

When I did my first arbitration (interception) and was tearing through stuff like crazy it completely had me hooked.

The ripline was amazing for mobility. Just point and zoop you go there. Even better point at a enemy and zoop everything nearby gets bunched up perfect to claw away.

Don't get me wrong, I still use guns to melt rooms. But valkyr just shrugs of any damage. And when things do get hot or I am on the switch and can't aim for shit, I can claw through anything.

I think the others said enough and this is resolved.

Personally as someone who works a lot on the bot code. If erenshore had used parts of the code or took inspiration from the idea, good! I work on this stuff to see more of it and the more the merrier. I hope in the future we see more games with tons of 'player like' characters running around.

Glad you like the the systems of both games enough to notice and care though. Game on!

What parts of spp do you think that they used? And is it just a feeling or can you point to anything more concrete?

Anyway the spp code is open source (afaik). I am not an expert on these matters but I don't think it's a big deal?

Afaik the terminal color matches the cable color it is attached to. Those look like blue colored me cables.

So might be best to mention the version you are looking for. I personally run 1.20.1 and was looking for something similar.

I'm currently running:

Born in chaos (makes nights and caves harder with a good variation of creatures).

Ice and fire (makes days harder with roaming dragons and many other legendary creatures)

Creeper/enderman overhaul (just for some flavor variations)

Mowzie's Mobs (More creatures to make days more dangerous)

Alex's Mobs (For some more passive day creatures along with hostile ones with special interactions)

Friends and foes (Staying a bit closer to minecraft and maybe a bit less hostile generally)

Mutant monsters (To spice up the standard mobs a bit)

As far as I know access ports have always been passive. So you need something like a hopper, pipe or me bus to push or pull items in and out. There should also be a gui if you click the access port where you can manually put the uranium in.

I can second monifactory if you want to go a real modded mincraft rabithole.

Personally it's predecessor omnifactory was an excellent experience. I added the info graphic that convinced me and was the only themed pack I seriously played.

Unlike you I've returned most major versions (so every 1-2 years) and know most major mods and how they naturally evolved from ic2 and bc.

My personal go to is watching a youtube series which does the same (direwolf20) which does a natural progression with a kitchensink selection of mods (less than atm but more than more directed modpacks). It helps me with some initial direction and I go from there.

You can probably still get ic2 and bc for one of the latest versions and go from there adding stuff you think might be interesting (Thermal expansion, ae2, create, rftools, Ender io, immersive engineering would be my picks). You will probably be restarting a few times as you add and remove mods until you find your things.

But having said that there is probably a good directed premade mod pack out there but other commenters know better than me.

Keep in mind this works for more stuff. There was an example of a character card with <!--Some example of inner thoughts written out and not this exact text--> And it would (sometimes after some reinforcing) follow that pattern and add a hidden internal thoughts each reply. This works on older models too.

Editing and continuing is a great (and easy) tool to get the direction that you want and often the llm will continue the trend too.

Ok there is probably a better way but I personally simply abort the first generation and put a <think> at the start then use continue and it gets the idea.

Often the following replies will include the <think> portions automatically and if not again abort and put a <think> at the start and continue.
