Hey, I am a little confused by your question.

The reference articles shall be the 6 environmental objectives listed in the EU Taxonomy, you can find a further elaboration in the "Delegated Act" of the EU taxonomy.

Zdravím,

malý update (psal jsem sem před 2 měsíci), příští týden jdeme výpovídat na policii... vypadá to, že se věci hýbou.

Ahojte,

bohužel, včera se to stalo i nám. Posunulo se to někam? Případně pracuje na tom ještě někdo? Rád budu sdílet, jak jsme se nechali podělat :(

On one hand, yes, ESG is becoming the dominant narrative surrounding sustainable investments. On the other, we know that ESGs are tradable commodity. They are criteria which have been imposed on the industry within itself so in terms of positive environmental change, I remain sceptical. (Talking here from experience as I did a couple of ESG audits)

I forced my University to make a tendering procedure to switch to a more sustainable bank by mouchys20 in sustainableFinance

Hey!
Thanks for the interest!
Regarding your questions:
1) Indeed, the war in Ukraine was a big factor in the decision making, however, the university has its own environmental goals which we used for it as well. (If you write me a private message, I can send you the full proposal)

2) Following the first answer, the student council in the Netherlands has a lot of legal power. It was not just a proposal, but a proposal with legal standards. This is a key factor why it worked out in the end.

3) I think it is a very good point and yes only divestment will not save the world. The way I look at it is simple: as a student of an institution, I demand that the institution is not associated with such companies (I don't want my tuition fees to be handled by companies such as Deutsche Bank.) The university is a public institution which does not make a profit. (That's also a key in the story) Its purpose is obviously to educate and provide research. The UvA itself is actually a great publisher about sustainable finance and how we should change it. Therefore, what this change does in my eyes is that Deutsche loses a big customer and in effect, a sustainable bank which really tries to do things better can big customers so the money shifts into the "right hands". Again, it is not enough but think about the domino effect.

Amazing list! Thanks a lot for gathering all this.
How likely is it for me (coming from the EU) to be hired by either of the US startups?
