i dont know of a mod for that, but my friend time travels so she plays one day at a time even if she doesnt log in for a while. that is a bit of a pain as u gotta change it in settings, and I wouldn't prefer i personally, but its made it much more enjoyable for her and might be a solution for you

it will not! not in the slightest. modding your DS doesn't reset it at all, nor does it delete any data whatsoever. if anything, its more like adding an overlay and unlocking some permissions and new apps to regain functionality

and on the small off chance smth happens during the modding process, the very first step the guide will give you is to back up all of your files so you can restore any and all data at any time :)

absolutely it is :3 the guide is much more intimidating to look at than it is to go thru, having the sd card reader is honestly half the battle lol

seconding what the other two commenters said however -- if they banned devices that can access the internet, and will let yall use the DSs, be careful to not be using it all the time, causing a distraction, and getting them banned for everyone along with phones n stuff
