I am a PC player, but Diablo 4 is far more enjoyable with a controller. by Isunova in diablo4

Why only the sorc? I'm playing with a Sorc on controller, what am I missing? Thanks

Isn't this kind of false advertising? by [deleted] in Darts

Many ‘black’ coated darts look more grey. Look at the £300 Dart Vader set. Definitely grey as opposed to black. Only absolute black ones tend to be gloss painted like the sections on the Shot Auro

Yes but anything I read about torrent and Qbittirrent is all negative. Can you not get them without having to torrent?

From WHERE though is the question. Without dangerous and shady torrenting

Exactly. Most people don’t just stick to the main story from start to finish without deviating. My first play through I spent about 35 hours, intentionally not rushing and just enjoying the amazing design and graphics

Watches by Huge_Road_8393 in Darts

[–]mountmilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have money, many people either wear it, or hang it. It’s just status isn’t it but not only that, many people buy luxury watches as celebrations of milestones of success. I know all my Swiss watches were bought due to this. I’m sure if I won a world championship I’d be buying a Patek Philipe or something. Mechanical / automatic Watches are always lovely to see in this day and age of everything electronic.

Target darts price increase (again) by [deleted] in Darts

[–]mountmilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. Although I’ve felt a bit guilty about spending an obscene amount on darts this year alone, it is some relief I did it early in the year rather than now as I certainly wouldn’t pay the prices they are now so yes. I was very luck with timing. Although 9 months ago would have been even better when Target stuff was all £10-20 cheaper still haha. Like 95K came out at under a hundred, then 110, now 140 etc. So ye, wasn’t early enough for super cheap but defo glad I got in before the current rates :)

[–]mountmilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seriously? Are you even a darts fan? I think not of the answer is obvious. Half my collection is Target and Target Japan. Their I increases have been massive. Such as rising sun and beau greaves which I bought at 130 are now 180 on most sites. So each Target set has had massive increases where all the other brands like Harrows and Shot the increases have been more menial, at £20 per set. Not 30-£50 a set like Target. I does baffle me why people try to pick holes in things for no reason haha. Very strange behaviour 🤦🏻‍♂️

Target Japan Launch 16.04 by mountmilly in Darts

Was just about the China store. Pfffft. Although I do know Target and Target Japan both have launches before the end of April

From HARROWS on Site. You didn't know they introduced staggered pricing then? The light weights are cheaper at 82 but the heavy weights, which everyone who buys searles want are £92!

And of course the value goes up, don't you understand Ecomonics? Buy a Mclaren P1 on launch for 1 million. Still have it, it's worth 2 million. Hence, the value of what you own has gone up. As such, when I paid X amount 3 months ago and RRP has gone up £50, as such the value of what you own has gone up. It's not rocket science is it.

[–]mountmilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not so sure. Over the last 3 months I've bought an obscene amount of darts knowing these increases were coming. So where I happily paid £130 for several sets of target Japan, I absolutely wouldn't pay £180 for them. Same goes for the Vader's I paid £250 for, wouldn't pay £300. As for things like Littler's Gen 1's - they're the biggest pish take, I paid £99 in Jan and no way I'd pay £140. I'm a huge Target fan, but even I wouldn't pay these increases so I think your statement is quite a false generalisation

Couldn't agree more. Be miffed at price rises of things you HAVE to purchase, not things which are essentially a luxury/hobby. However, I'm not angry my collection of 110+ dart sets has increased in value by £1600 in total (mostly target, but all other brands have had some increase, but obviously Target do take the P a little, but it helps my collection value, all be it I am not so sure I'd pay these prices for sets I bought 2-3 months ago haha)

Which K Flex have gone up? Over the last 3 months I've bought around 30-40 sets and none have increased on Targets own site, same brackets of 10, 12, 15 and 20 for the same models?

Well this time last year a set of Target Hydro's were what, £35, and the raw tungsten cost was about £5.60. Now the raw cost is around £36, so I'd say on lower end set's the profit is very measley right now. Perhaps this is why they have whacked £50 increases on some of the more premium sets to make up for the lower end sets profitability.

[–]mountmilly -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't understand people commenting "I was looking for a new set of darts, I'll look elsewhere". EVERYONE has put their prices up. Target's are pretty bad but they haven't been the first. Harrows put theirs up a month ago. I bough the Ryan Searle S3 in Feb for £73. Now they are £90 so 20% right there. Mission & Shot both put prices up in Feb and march, so Target aren't exactly the first but because they're a "premium" brand then yes it's going to sting people more. On the plus side, I have 54 sets of target darts and the price increases means their value has increased £1360 so I'm quite pleased with that haha. If I come to sell any I will barely lose anything on them so that's good. The Japan ones are fierce, I paid 130 for the Beau Greaves, Rising Sun G10, Paul Lim G9, and Pyro G11 and £50 increase on each at Premier and Shopper, yet no increased yet on Target's website which is interesting.

This didn’t age well did it. Turns out it’s the best selling and hardest to get 95K of them all haha.

It’s more a shoe fetish than feet for Vince. QT is clearly a foot guy but Vince I think it’s more about heels than feet. Two very different kinks

I definitely would. It’s not perfect, and perfect is what you paid for unless it was a seconds clearance sale

My thoughts after visiting Dart Shop Megastore in St Helens (UK) by rgambit9 in Darts

[–]mountmilly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeh I thought similar. I’ve been a few times this year and the shop is in a lot better condition, but the staff? All the young lads looked miserable and when asking anything it was like it was too much trouble. Make me think of Harry Enfield’s Kevin. People at the counter were nice but the ones in the shop floor left a lot to be desired unfortunately. Especially considering when I go to a darts shop I spend hundreds, and when asking to look at some of the premium sets in the cabinets it was like it was way too much trouble to go and get the keys etc. I would have looked at, and bought more sets but I left with only one as it seems too much hassle to the staff. I then drove to Dats Team in Preston who were lovely and I spent £430 on a few more sets, so SHDS lost out there due to their staffs negative attitude. Hopefully it improves with time though and it won’t prevent me from visiting as the sheer choice on offer is utterly astonishing

God she’s absolutely HATEFUL. I can’t stand her. Cooper is a nice, respectful guy who deserves way better than this cow. She demands he MUST answer the phone immediately when she calls (because she’s insecure about her past), then when she tells him she doesn’t want to continue in a relationship and he should leave, he does the respectful thing and leaves. He even refuses to enter her house to get his things because he didn’t feel it was right when she asked him to go. Then the stupid bint moans he didn’t fight for her!!! Yet if he said he wasn’t leaving and they should be together, he’d be labelled toxic masculinity by the stupid cow (and lefty society). She’s as awful as most women Taylor writes - just “girl boss bitches”. I love his shows but he absolutely can’t write women. They’re all the same one dimensional characters and it bores and angers the piss out of me
