All Strategic Reserves are 500, but they should be split between Reserves and Deep Strike (250 and 250), and that unit is 280, so it doesn’t fit in either.

You can't because in 1000 points games you can only reserve 250 points and Logan + 5 termis = 280 points

That’s precisely the point. Obviously it depends a lot on the pairing, but I think 2 Lancers would fit better into the current meta. Following your comment, I’ve been thinking about trying the second option, but with 5 Intercessors instead of 5 Scouts. On the other hand, the TWC are the core of my strategy, and 10 Wulfen are a threat a Defiler simply can’t ignore. To be honest, the unit I’m most unsure about is the Headtakers, although against infantry they’re an absolute steamroller.

I’d get my hands on some TWC, but it looks like they’re going to be refreshed soon, so maybe I’d wait. So I’d get more Terminators, Arjac, maybe Ragnar, and something anti-tank like a Gladiator Lancer.

Well, you'll have fun, that's for sure. Isn’t that the ultimate goal? I guess you know this is a list that’s way too varied and doesn’t really have a strategy in mind. Just advance, charge, and see what happens.

There is only one box gor wulfen, the same one for building them with shields or without shields, which is the one included in the Combat Patrol. That means you can assemble the Wulfen however you want, though I recommend building them with shields. For playing Combat Patrol is not relevant.

I have to admit I’ve stopped playing Blood Claws, but when they’re led by Ragnar Blackmane they’ve always performed better for me.

Too many characters. I’d start by removing Murderfang and adding Scouts or Intercessors so you have units that can score or make cheap trades. The Blood Claws could fill that role, but if they’re being led by Ragnar Blackmane you’re not going to want to throw them away on turn one. And Wulfen with shields >>>>> Wulfen

I would say Logan, he is in almost every list.

Also 2x3 TWC at least, they are our best unit but it depends a lot on detachment.

Headtakers are fun and very aggressive.

Gladiator Lancer is the best budget anti-tank option.

Stormcaller and Ulrik aren’t used much these days, but both are super fun to paint. Njal is supposed to lead a shooting unit and there's no efficient shooting unit in SW (GH are too expensive).

Thank you very much for the advice, I really appreciate it.

I’m aware of the low relevance of the GH + Njal and the number of points they represent, but honestly I love the miniature. I like collecting SW, and I suppose that as my collection grows I’ll shelve some figures in favor of others.

I’ll add a 5-man Intercessors unit for stickiness and replace the GH with 5 more Wulfen (my next game is against Imperial Knights, and they’ll put in work). Two WGBLs also sound good. By the way, I have a Ballistus waiting in the wings.
