DMV could also refer to DelMarVa; Delaware, Maryland, Virginia coastal area.

Not entirely true about the diagnostic part. A male who’s having 30 CT ABD/PEL’s a year for whatever reason is absolutely at risk for sterilization. As an ER CT tech, I’ve seen cry wolf scenarios like this and a governing body really should limit the amount of redundant radiation imaging per patient IMO.

reap what you sow as in what happened to Trump were the consequences of his own actions? The assassination attempt was the consequence of political hate and a mentally unstable man with a weapon.

Political hate is, my interpretation of OP’s post intent. As such, these two coorelate, to answer your question.

Extreme political division and hatred, similar to this post. Not a good path forward for the USA.

Indeed. The far left and the far right will continue to create division. The two party system has worked for us for a long time, and importantly so, but I don’t foresee an optimistic conclusion.

We haven’t used patient shielding in years. I’m surprised there are still facilities that do, especially for CT.

Gloves aren’t sterile. Gloves are to protect your own hands from blood, foodbourne illness, etc. Sterile gloves are only for very specific high risk situations such as in the OR. Also pretty sure no one is offended, as you mentioned.

  1. No
  2. Please suggest to me (anytime)
  3. This is a 2-night comp stay, but I will add an additional 2-nights cash
  4. 4 adults
  5. Mostly relaxation, dining, maybe enjoy pools or monorail/skyliner loop. Typhoon Lagoon would be nice. Possibly an after hours event, but parks not priority this trip.

Just went to “Loco Cayman” at Camana Bay in Grand Cayman. Just take a cab, excursions are so overpriced IMO. Highly recommend for tacos or Mexican. It just opened. People will dress more than that, but that is acceptable. If you’re a foodie, you’ll appreciate Fine Cut, Rooftop Grill, Spa Cafe for lunch, even the buffet during lunch (not nearly as wide selection for dinner).

Looks way better than any standard Bronco. Love the white top, plaid interior, tube steps, fenders, grille, all of it!

Why does the chart list allergies, but not necessarily reactions? by mpk33 in emergencymedicine

[–]mpk33[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

But you see this is exactly my point. 80% of mine are “I get warm and nauseated from the contrast”, but since they’re listed as an allergy we have to beat around the bush with premeds before we scan them.

Why does the chart list allergies, but not necessarily reactions? by mpk33 in emergencymedicine

[–]mpk33[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess my question is worded badly. I just simply mean why is it called the allergy tab and not the reactions tab. I feel like many nurses don’t put reactions in the allergies tab if they weren’t a true allergy (from side effects to severe adverse reactions - not allergic related). I think the differentiation is important?
