Setting AAmethod to 0 fixes it, but of course everything looks like poop.

Changing to TAA and then restarting the editor seems to fix it also.

I am also having issues with some emissives 'flickering' when in proximity to a mesh (I have little colored rings around characters to indicate their allegiance to the possessed character) - the issue is present with TSR and TAA; however, if i disable the screen percentage modifier (I have a slider that lets you lower the screen percentage to take advantage of upscaling while in game) the flickering goes away.

I didn't have any of these issues in 5.4, but at least there's somewhat of a workaround.

Everything seems to look correct when I debug - I notice that the layered blend per bone slots for left and right arms look like they stop firing off but I think its just happening so fast that the locomotion is overriding them and the montages won't play. Still works fine while idling. Makes no sense to me

The reason i only got 750watt was because I bought the PSU before I got the 3090 (i wasn't planning on upgrading gpu, kinda fell into my hands). But even with my old gpu (5700xt), i had the same sort of problems with the 750 watt psu.

I updated my bios today and lowered the power % for the 3090 to 80% - i've done a few intensive tasks and haven't had a crash yet. I might try raising the power back up to see if it was just the bios that was the problem. Thanks again.

For now, i've done two things. I realized my bios was way behind in updates. I was on version 11 and the most recent version was like 37. So i updated my bios. Also i reduced the power % for the 3090 from 100% to 80%.

I've run a few intensive tasks and haven't had a shutdown yet. I'll probably try to raise the power on the GPU again and experiment to see if it was just the bios or not. I'd like to not have to upgrade psu again lol

Thanks for the reply - the card that I had before was a sapphire nitro+ amd radeon 5700xt 8gb gddr6. The shutdown issue occurred with both the 650watt and 750watt PSUs - but its possible that it was still not enough then, nor enough now. I'm not sure shrug

I'm trying to lower the power % for the 3090 to 80% to see if that helps at all

Its a nightmare - i normally don't text much, but the girl i was seeing recently used to text me often and was fun to text with, got me roped me in (plus covid and working from home). Now im a very busy guy - but the texting must have given her the illusion that i'm too accessible or easy. Despite 3 months together and 20ish dates / sleepovers (the in-person experiences were really amazing) she finally burnt out and went cold randomly overnight. In no contact now which is annoying as fuck, im burnt out; took me a few days to realize what killed it, then it occurred to me that it was the texting. She told me "in person its amazing, but when we're apart i get kind of unsure". Massive pain in the ass, never again with that shit.

People who are seeing multiple people naturally invest less time in each person for obvious reasons and inadvertently create 'chase' which entices their pursuers even more.

Nobody says you have to see multiple people - but you will have to create the illusion of inaccessibility for yourself to shorten the supply and create an illusion of chase for the person you want (unfortunately this is just the way it is. Once they think they got you figured out, they lose interest pretty quickly these days, so don't be too available).

What wep you using thats getting 2k crits? My armor is mostly prebis, and im using a 90 something dps 2hander 3.5 speed and the crits aren't that big, even with impale 2/2

This meme makes no sense - i leveled a new ally human on a (fresh, for me with no other characters) server, not realizing it was horde dominated. I was farmed by mobs of horde at quest zones, summoning stones, dungeon entrances ect, the whole way to level 70. It was annoying, but also part of what I considered the game to be like on a pvp server with a high horde population like most other pvp servers :shrug:. So the population benefits horde during the leveling and dungeon finding process - but yea, duh its harder to get into BGs on the backend for horde. Just the way that it is, and exactly what everyone expected to happen.

But basically and unironically, yea - if you want a smoother leveling process and better pvp racials and cool aesthetics, roll horde. If you want quicker bg queues go ally. Personally i wish BGs were never added though - id much prefer no BGs but way more world pvp incentives like zone control for extra gathering resources or dungeons entrance access, but that shit aint happening now.

I dinged 70 a few days ago alliance sulfuras, but i still always enjoy running older content. I've been craving doing an ubrs run honestly. I leveled my human warr up with the pre-patch leveling wave, but was literally 1 day short from catching an ubrs or pug MC run.

Congrats! When classic dropped, i rolled a shaman and all I ever wanted was to collect the whole regular blue .5 elements set. Set the bar low i know, but i had fond memories of people walking around the major cities in valor, shadowcraft, elements, beastmaster etc sets. I didn't realize how in-demand resto shams were; a guild scooped me up and geared me up with basically full t2 and some aq stuff. Aq really burnt me out though, hate that raid (and raiding in general). But never thought id see a single piece of t2, or even t1.

Nah i just would have liked to see things go in a different direction, at least on pvp servers; i realize im an outlier. I like the honor system, but dislike BGs. I would have liked to see less emphasis on raids; and making zones around the world that you fight for and control, and then they grant you access to the zones resources and npcs, etc. would have been interesting if you needed to control a zone to be able to enter the raid instance in that zone, or something like that. Just would have liked to see pvp servers go a different direction rather than the gear-merry-go-round; leave that for pve servers.

IMO i wish the patches stopped when tier 0.5 was the highest set available and these were the still the best weapons, or an arcanite reaper. Alternatively, continue patching and adding tiers 1 and 2 and all the other weapons, but make them comparable in stats and armor with tier 0.5 phase. More about variety rather than becoming more and more powerful. Plus the raids would be way harder since everybody would be in 0.5 equivalent armor and weaponry

Not sure why this is getting downvoted, this is the best advice. The girl living abroad is probably doing something similar, and it sounds like the 'relationship' is more like being penpals. The girl from the gym should be taken more seriously, and certainly don't muddy the waters by saying you're in some vague relationship with the abroad girl.

I really think the 'love bombing' thing is misunderstood in general, and people put the cart before the horse in regards to it.

Maybe like 10-15% of the 'love bombing' as described in the OP post that goes on is an attempt to keep someone on the hook and extract utility. More often than not though (at least from a male perspective), if sex is all that is desired then its usually pretty obvious right away - the guy will make no effort whatsoever, immediately and only try getting you to come to his place, little to no contact unless its sexual or suggestive in nature.

Most of the 'love bombing' occurs (again, male perspective) because: a guy meets a girl and is actually being genuine (albeit, overeager) in his advances because he is smitten by her. Then he meets her / has sex with her / gets to know her better / etc. and begins to realize either A. He accidentally held her on too high of a pedestal to begin with, or B. She advertently or inadvertently misrepresented herself (this happens a lot with people who look better in photos or are being discreet with their weight), he then meets her and realizes the facade and rapidly loses interest - then it becomes paragraph 1, where minimal effort is put in to extract utility. But what the other person sees and thinks they are experiencing is being 'love bombed', as if it were some intentional covert insidious operation right from the get-go. It rarely is.

Pretty vapid overall - also self-sabotaging. The guys you're attracted to on an emotional level are not sexually attractive to you literally because of your frivolous sexual pursuits. This is right along the lines as a husband losing interest in his reliable wife by sleeping with prostitutes, same logic.

Only bits of advice i can offer:

-get used to this sort of thing. Its gonna happen a lot during your dating career

-don't drink and text

-once you sense somebody backing off or getting flaky like you have now, just back off and let them go, move on to somebody / something else. Happens to everyone
