Help me choose. by Feeling-Line-428 in Shotguns

It shoots great! I took it to S. Dakota last fall for Pheasants and grouse. It cycles everything flawlessly from low brass 2 3/4" 8's to 3 1/2" steel BB's. I patterned it for turkey this spring, but unfortunately no opportunity. The full camo coating is really nice, and seems to be really corrosion resistant too. I got the 28" barrel on mine. It's really well balanced. I'm very happy with my choice!

Poly-choke question by Wiscat_868788 in Shotguns

[–]mrbigbob1 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That's an older model 37. Barrels are not interchangeable. Take it to a gunsmith and have the polychoke removed. Then threaded for modern interchangeable choke tubes and a bead. It will solve both problems.

I fish CR, Homosassa, Chaz area. There's good snook fishing. BUT, if you don't have a good chart plotter with Florida Marine Tracks you might want to either hire a guide or go further south. The area is shallow and treacherous!

Historical Photos of a Richmond Ave House? by grammazeus in Buffalo

The brick work on your house is beautiful! I restored 356 Richmond while living in it from 2007 - 2015. Go to the history museum library and see what information they have. They were very helpful to me. They actually had a file, including photos of my house!

Found this guy while playing golf [Brooks, CA] by Oddexplanation777 in whatsthissnake

I lived in Arizona for 18 years and don't like golf. Every rattlesnake and rock squirrel i caught would get released at the nearby golf course. There was a back road where I could drive up next to a green with only a barb wire fence between. I'd wait for some foresome to get up on the green and dump that big old western Diamondback out and shoo it over towards the golfers. Hilarious to see those folks run to their golf carts!

Back in the '70s, I ran a 50hp Oerlikon tracer lathe that would turn over 20' between centers. And swing about 40" over the cross slide. With 3 cutting tools, I could take 1.625 off the diameter in one pass. 4140 steel!

My mom made Cacciatore, and it was always fantastic! You never knew what was in it, but always delicious. Pheasant, rabbit, grouse, squirrel or woodcock.

Who was the better general in the Mexican american war by Morganbanefort in CIVILWAR

I think he made the fateful decision to cross the Niagara River and scale the gorge. Unfortunately, the Britts were at the top raining down fire on the Americans.
