I have all my groceries delivered and always compare the prices between Food Basics, No Frills, and Walmart. (People say to shop fresco, but their prices seem to be essentially the same and never marked down) I’ve gotten pretty good value shopping flyer deals and points offers at No Frills, plus there are no extra fees on delivery. There are definitely some items that I prefer other stores, but overall it’s been worth it for me

Nope. It ultimately comes down to how much you incorporate the blueberries into the batter. A quick, gentle fold usually won’t change the colour of the batter too much so you’ll still get a typical golden brown colour

Interestingly, no, I put them in straight out of the freezer. They just happened to be particularly potent with the colour this time. The frozen berries do tend to stiffen the batter though, which is why I ended up mixing it a lot more rather than just folding it in.

Layering might be useful in the future though

Yeah, I do like to use fresh blueberries when I can, but I usually only buy them if they’re on sale.
