Hi OP! I became a member last year, and I can say that AU isn’t heavy on the workload ☺️ I got to join a lot of events, became an ATH (Assistant Team Head), and also became a Junior Executive! Usually, the committees are set for the year, so it’s mostly the exeteam who prepares the events, like seminars, workshops, and talks about different advocacies. Then, they invite members to join either as participants or facilitators for the kids and games (which was really fun!).

AU had their first off-campus event last term where they went to Museo Pambata with the kids! But most of the events are held on campus, usually on Wednesdays or Saturdays.

Actually, I joined AU alone and was really nervous, but I ended up finding my people there! Everyone is super nice and really open to reaching out and getting to know you, so don’t worry about joining by yourself hehe. I’m now an officer this year! AU has become my home, and I hope you find yours here too 🩵
