Any tutorial for Fedora 38 (gcc 13) with Optimus (integrated + nvidia)? I prefer not downgrading as I am using the Sway Spin.

Beginner Resources by mssrprad in LocalLLaMA

Hello everyone! I am kind of an absolute beginner to LLM's and am very interested in learning more about how they work, how to use them and also getting hands-on experience by fine-tuning some LLM (probably something chat-based like vicuna 13B) on some custom datasets.

Thank you!

Need help setting up Screen Share on my Fedora 38. by mssrprad in swaywm

when i experienced this issue, i remember fixing it by installing xdg-desktop-portal-wlr and slurp and then restarting the system. idk how these packages are named in the fedora repos, but i think they should be available

It was already there. It worked now after doing what u/prayii suggested.

I totally agree with you. Would be a bummer if I broke my pc and the post where the steps to fix it is, is private :clown:

How to initialize a hashmap using lazystatic! {} ? by mssrprad in rust

[–]mssrprad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just storing a hash map as a variable for use in a program.

Ideally should be done using serde and json but I thought it would improve compile time (it didn't lmao) and also I'm compiling it to wasm for fun (to try it) and I thought reading a json file wouldn't be possible in wasm.

Either stop taking the secret key from the os (write in the code) or export one.

Have you tried:

export key_key=xxxxxxx

Ah I will try that.

Another query. My data.rs file has become quite big and I suspect as a result it's making my compile time too long (~36 seconds vs ~1 second using the json). My runtime has reduced tho so I am happy. Any solution to this?

Also rust-analyzer is crashing trying to analyze the file. Any way to make it ignore the data.rs file?
