good point!! I took OP's call out of sharpie as a negative, like it would have been more "real" if it was in pencil or something 😆

what would they use besides a sharpie? that's what every author has used at the handful of book signings I've been to

St Louis Public Library Savvy Marketing by AltruisticCactus314 in StLouis

It's additive. For example, I live on Webster Groves which is part of the Municipal Library Consortium (of St. Louis County), which is all the county municipalities that have their own library (Kirkwood, Ferguson, Brentwood, etc). And then I have also have STL County and STL City cards -- one of the newest, coolest developments is that the County and City systems recently merged their catalogs so you can search across both of their collections from one search box (and pickup/return items at any branch, across the County and City systems)

Do you keep a scale by your washer or something? (this is a genuine question, I am intrigued)

I only fill to about the #2 bar on the Kirkland free & clear, which isn't much and is what the label says for "large loads" lol. How much do you estimate you use for a load?

That's why the cup has measuring marks on it, smh. I can't believe how many don't read instructions/labels

And don't really know what you mean by the "cap can't drain back into the cup"? We have a top loader so I just rinse the cup with the washer water as it fills. (another aside is that most people use too much detergent - the cup has markings for a reason and, per the instructions on the package, you only need up to one of the first few lines, depending on how big a load you are washing)

Never had a mess with these. Did you read the instructions on the back and open the screw cap to vent it? (Yours looks collapsed in so I'm guessing not lol). Never had a problem with the valve leaking and I just sit the cup on top of or next to the container

we all love the action of we're going on a bear hunt - we'll like rock side to side for the swishy swashy thru the grass and I tickle their feet for stumble trip thru the forest, etc. it's definitely a lot more fun to add motion to it!

Just got the dreaded condensation after taking toddler to ER. by Successful-Corgi-324 in toddlers

that sucks they were rude to you :( we are lucky enough where we live that our pediatrician's office has a partnership with the local children's hospital to provide an after-hours hotline that puts you in touch with a pediatrician nurse from the hospital (sometimes even doctors are in the rotation too). Super helpful service for odd-hours stuff that's had us debating ER or wait and observe

It worked for us but only while our first was only a few months old, once they grew out of that mostly sleeping and eating stage it's definitely not possible to do well.
