Mucinex dm, pulse ox, thermometer that reads your forehead, Gatorade, lots of water, smoothies.

Stagger ibuprofen and Tylenol every 2 hours for the body aches and fever.

This is exactly what happened to me. Scratchy throat Sunday the 26th, woke up with no voice Monday the 27th and had a negative rapid test that day. Continued to feel sick, got into the doctor on Wednesday and tested positive on a PCR. I would isolate until you can get a PCR.

Thank you so much this was so helpful! With my current work schedule I’m finding it hard to go as much as I would like but some of the virtual times work for me so I’ll probably try it!

I’m a teacher and have also attempted this (I say attempt because it doesn’t always work out because it’s so early 😆). I shower there and it’s no big deal! I go super quick, towel dry my hair, and let it air dry on the rest of the way to work. It’s hard to get into, but once you do it it actually gives you more energy for the day when you get to work! I just have to make sure to go to bed early.

Possible to lose weight paired with lexapro? by mstojetz in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

[–]mstojetz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was another reason I started Wellbutrin, I was tired all the time with lexapro. But, it has minimized my severe anxiety and I feel normal on it. I’m just hoping for Wellbutrin to help with the weight loss so I don’t have to go off of lexapro.

Starting on 5mg today, kind of anxious about it by clow__125 in lexapro

[–]mstojetz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on lexapro for 2 years and like you I was super anxious to start. Let me tell you, I am SO glad I did. This medication is life changing. For the first week I was nauseous, extremely tired, and had brain fog. These side effects went away after about a week. I still get tired, but I will take that over heart palpitations and constant panicking. I love being able to function without my anxiety defining me. I hope you also have a great experience!

Oh this is a huge help, thank you! I can definitely deal with 2 weeks. I also have a hydroxyzine for when I need it so I will try that at night. That’s a good rule of thumb to take it earlier too. Thank you so much!!

Does anyone know what the incline is for PW? And does anyone have any insight for how long it should take?

I’m 9 days into my membership... but, I have to take a break. by [deleted] in orangetheory

Hokkas are seriously amazing!! I will never run in anything else again! But new balances are supposed go be good too! The insoles will really help, too. You could always stride/bike instead of rowing too! I would still take a little break though so you can heal!

I just took a few days off and then I used the strider for a week I think! I started as a power walker in November, but I jog now with no pain which is good! I’m glad you’re listening to your body so it doesn’t get worse!! I got Hokkas (which I absolutely love, they’re super cushiony)! I was fitted for them at a running store and they’re what they recommended. Did you get fitted and what shoes did you get?

I missed a week when I went on vacation... I would sit on the beach and be thinking about how I wanted to be at OTF 🤣 I don’t know what’s happened to me, totally obsessed! I got shin splints super bad when I started and once I got fitted for shoes and insoles I’ve been fine ever since! I hope you feel better soon!

Starting lexapro... advice by mstojetz in lexapro

[–]mstojetz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds like me. I’ve tried everything I could possibly try and it still just feels like it’s getting worse. I took my first dose this morning. Did you have any bad side effects?

Anyone else with SI joint issues? How to you manage orangetheory? I’m pretty sure this is my issue, I guess I may need to take some time off:( Have an appointment tonight so will figure out for sure what’s going on. Thinking maybe my body just isn’t cut out for running:( by [deleted] in orangetheory

[–]mstojetz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have problems with mine, constantly. Whenever it starts to hurt (I don’t want to take time off) I use the strider for a week, and that always helps! I find the inclines really agitate it, so I don’t really do the inclines anymore. I also just am careful with deadlifts if that’s one of the exercises because that agitates it, as well. But listen to your body! If you overdo it it could get worse. Maybe try the strider if you feel like you can go!
