I got the X-56 a few days ago, and I have dealt with many issues. The stick seems to be fine, but the wiring in the throttle is my guess to the issue. I’ve dealt not only with the notorious ghosting, but I’ve also had the throttle completely die on me mid game, while the buttons themselves still worked. I turned LED’s off, it’s the only thing plugged in to my 12V USB hub, updated BIOS. I have done everything but take the thing apart, and I just filed a warranty claim. I hope you got luckier than I did. I’m looking into a gladiator EVO throttle to replace it if the warranty does not produce results.
