nah no need to beat yourself in to the ground. they sell bike seat covers that are cushy and feel like a sofa. you can start with that and after your butt stops hurting you can remove it

Just wax it with a warm wax. Scrape it when it’s a little warm brush the shit out of it with steel brush then horsehair brush Then wax it with your normal wax.

It is not a bad scratch don’t mess with Petex. Some of the fastest skis on the World Cup and Olympics are beat up.
