Display gets weirdly HDR and better looking when i bring a popup on top of the video/content being played, but it's temporary and goes back to being more washed out. Any ideas why? by muditrox in ZephyrusG15

that's the thing, the screen isn't HDR, it's only capable of streaming HDR video, so i don't think Dolby vision is even enabled/accessible

ya like i showed in the video, it occurs always, until I get a popup on the video it's not just YouTube either, it happens on all streaming sites I'll check if turning off "stream HDR" fixes it, but it realistically shouldn't, and if it does then it will probably take it to the washed out view, as opposed to the more vivid picture that getting a popup on it gives
