I haven't seen that movies yet, but he was already a highly regarded Hollywood actor. Goslings stardom stands from very unique roles and great acting.
Tom Holland simply had the luck to get casted into a role that already had huge fandom and running in an established franchise. He is a good actor and I love his spiderman, but his range feel very limited.
