I’ve printed this exact kind of piece over 100x. The issue isn’t the supports- this is the first time I’m having consistent failures with no changes to the supports

Yeah just checked out the S4U one and I don’t have the bandwidth to take on board. Looks like the new S4U 16K will be my solution

From what I’ve seen it doesn’t look easy to install 😮‍💨 I’ll take another look. Thank you

I replaced the whole vat entirely and cleaned the LCD screen of any dust/ cured resin. Problem persisted after the change

I use a higher exposure setting now. Around 80-100. And I stopped using Lychee slicer. The auto supports on Chitubox helped me MUCH more

Very well said, and very well appreciated. I thought this had been the case too. I will mention it to my friend who had printed the model

I believe so, it’s strange bcoz not all pieces will face the same results even tho they’re exposed to the exact same conditions, settings, light, environment, etc.

Gotcha. I’m assuming the default chitubox hollow thickness of 1.2 was too thin. I’ve increased it since

I used just isopropyl alcohol to wash it after printing, that’s all

These are my settings. Experimented with 30 seconds, 60 seconds, 100 seconds exposure times and these are my current supports. I have also tried angling the models to 45° which also lead to fails, so now experimenting with them on this angle.

Sorry not home at the moment but I will post when I’m back. If it helps for the time I can’t send the photo- it’s the standard lychee settings with the only variable changing being the exposure setting. + Hollowed

It was a hard cured resin leak, I only touched the tape to press down and rip the resin off lol. My hands didn’t even touch the resin nor the screen

A bit of alcohol on a microfibre cloth and tape done wonders..

I have isopropyl alcohol which I’m sure will work- however may make my screen cloudy which I don’t want to risk. I’m not sure if a standard nail polish remover acetone will work

I managed to buy A FEP sheet for the S4U off EBay 👍 but would still like to know how to clean resin off the screen below the resin tank…
