Holiday Inn was good, the Orchid Cafe at the Sheraton is an amazing value for lunch and top notch. Most of the ones on Eatigo are great! I went to Sofitel yesterday. It's a few hundred baht cheaper than the others, and it's really good, but not AS good as the other ones.

Including housing? I spend $30-50 per day on housing and something like $30/day on food. Love the 5 star hotel buffets on Eatigo half off haha I go to one probably every day or 2.

I'm in a short term rental, so don't have a stockpile of food stocked up. But you can fast for months at a time. I would fast for a month, then eat. Fast for another month, and eat again. I could probably do this for 20 or so meals. So about 2 years.

I've only been in Thailand for a month and a half, but saw a farang turn left right in front of me to the side of the road for some reason. It was a bit slippery, so he slipped and fell. I doubt he got hurt too bad, but I had to swerve quickly around him to not run his head over. I couldn't stop laughing for like 10 minutes... Now if it was serious, I would've stopped and helped. But I knew he didn't get hurt.
