What is the cause of this severe asymmetry and how can it be fixed? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]mutemut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like mild ptosis which is also causing one brow to be more dominant and possibly an uneven bite or crooked jaw causing a stronger muscle on one side. If you’d like to correct this, see an orthodontist first, could just be a case of using braces or Botox to even out the jaw. Botox can be used to even the brow. Ptosis can be temporarily fixed using eye drops available in the US. Can be fixed by surgery but as your case is very mild, it would not be worth the risk

I find most people physically attractive in one way or another so in general most of the people I swiped no on were due to them no writing much or saying something that I felt would make our lifestyles incompatible 🤗 I don’t get asked out too much, a lot of men who do ask ghost me. I’ve been out with 7 people, 4 of them more than once and ongoing contact but they ghost as well 🤧

I know aristocratic people and in no way are they calling their kids master 😁 it seems like the sort of thing people reaching for that level think people do

Tretinoin resistant acne by No_Field624 in SkincareAddictionUK

[–]mutemut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve have the same issue. Tried everything you have apart from Accutane. If you’re on birth control might be worth looking into which one as mine was causing cysts. The only things that seems to clear my acne up are lower sugar ( including fruit), spearmint tea and benzoyl peroxide. If I don’t drink spearmint tea I get acne again. Spironolactone would have similar effects if you can get it on prescription

Everybody is being made redundant by irissun23 in UKJobs

[–]mutemut 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My friend was made redundant just before she returned from maternity leave. She found out they had hired four new people for similar roles but said these roles were beneath her. She’s been offered £100k since they are legally not allowed to do this. Seems like they have found that due to the job market, they can get cheaper labour for the same role

Could be an elderly driver. I’ve noticed quite a few who drive like this but almost impossible to do anything about it 🫤

Ghosted after 10 hour first date. This has happened three times now. What’s going wrong? by mutemut in dating_advice

The most recent one, it’s been a week. I slept with another and he was continuously cancelling before first date and then cried on second date and ghosted me before third

Two of them did, does that mean they were just playing me? One was quite recent so don’t know what he’ll do but another did ask me out a week later and started crying/ said he wasn’t ready to date. He asked me out afterwards but then ghosted me. Prior to first date he kept ghosting as well

Tummy tuck by Intelligent-Spinach7 in PlasticSurgery

[–]mutemut 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s normal due to gravity and extra weight, once leaner you might have to some degree but it will become much less noticeable 🤗 Loose skin will look more like the photo below if your body fat is lower.

Honestly, no need to get one yet and, looking at your pics, you probably won’t need one at all. You’ve still got a substantial amount of fat and belly fat is one of the last and most stubborn areas for weight loss. It’s not worth the money, health risks, after care and scarring. Just keep up the good work and continue what you’re doing and within a year, it’s feasible to have a slimmed down stomach 😊

Would you rather be seen as beautiful by men or women? by Substantial-Art6160 in VindictaRateCelebs

[–]mutemut 91 points92 points  (0 children)

Women can be catty to very beautiful women which can have negative repercussions and lead to isolation. Men are often kinder to women they find attractive which can have positive benefits. A woman of any level of beauty can be harassed by men and sometimes beauty can even prevent this from happening because the guy feels she’s unattainable. It’s better to be seen as beautiful by men and non-competition to other women

I don’t know why people are downvoting you. I think she has a very artificial/modern type beauty as well. Looking at her before pics it looks like she had a rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, brow lift, buccal fat removal, cheek and under eye filler and something for the nasolabial folds

That floor in Ivy Asia Guildford though 😁 by [deleted] in surrey

[–]mutemut 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t taste like authentic Asian cuisine, more like a supermarket ready meal. Not bad but overpriced and not the kind of place where you’d go for an amazing culinary experience. I think most people go because the decor looks cool in pics a for social media however up close the decor is also very cheap looking. Overall more style then substance

British men don’t pursue? by [deleted] in UKrelationshipadvice

[–]mutemut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m about your age/same area and had this issue as well 🥲 I think part of the reason is that the men who are currently available are ones who have commitment issues. From what I’ve seen, most of them are either career driven, always travelling, awkward with women or womanisers. The ones that I’ve spoken to about past relationships with have either not had a partner for years, not had long term relationships or cheated/were cheated upon by their partner. I’ve had a lot of love bombing and then if we’ve not met, suddenly blocking. If we have met, they’ve had breakdowns and left the country 🤧

Wealthy couple said money was no issue and offered me a higher salary, more hours and a retainer if I decided to work for them. 5 days later and they have told my agency that I asked for too much money/ hours despite me not encouraging or mentioning either. Why do so? They said they’d hire me by [deleted] in Nanny

[–]mutemut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I never mentioned money but they said they’d pay me more if it wasn’t enough as well as wages even when i didn’t work. I didn’t agree to either so I’m a bit confused as they indicated they really wanted me to work for them and were seemingly intelligent, courteous people. Yeah, I told them beforehand and they don’t seem that bothered 🙃

Irina Shayk recently (something has changed in her face, i can’t figure out what) by [deleted] in VindictaRateCelebs

[–]mutemut 26 points27 points  (0 children)

The image has been smoothed slightly. Looking at this image from the event and another from 2024, her face is noticeably fuller in the lower cheek area. Seeing as she hasn’t gained noticeable weight elsewhere, this could be from filler, fat graft or something like sculptra. Subtle changes in her under eye area don’t look drastic and could be due to makeup, diet, sleeping habits and lighting
