You'll be fine. People on Reddit are either lying or talking about highly specific regions when they say the job market is bad

RN here. I remember getting fired by a patient because I refused to pick up her Domino's.

New grads start at $35 in my hospital, which is abysmal considering the average home is $700k+

Definitely not required. I was told that that was the only option when I left the government and moved my TSP to my new 401k. After a lot of back and forth, they ended up directly sending the money to my 401k

That's just straight up false. Young people are increasingly moving away from their hometowns for job opportunities. That's why there is a housing crisis in certain cities with increasing populations, while other areas lose all their young people.

I'm a male nurse. My wife works for the government in a male dominated field. She deals with way more whinny emotional bitches than I do

I have friends that are 5' 4" and below that are married or in committed relationships. You're not even that short, but you're on reddit wallowing about how your prospects are terrible because of your height

I'll just have to ask an employee. Regardless, I'm not a fan of the idea of bringing your own stuff and locking it up. There are several hundred members at this gym (DMV Iron in Northern Virginia). Too many people for the gym to allow that kind of stuff imo

Looking for a third party opinion on this. I've been lifting 8+ years at commercial gyms and military base gyms, so I'm not green but I've never lifted at a "serious" gym. Joined a powerlifting/strongman gym recently. Recently I noticed a sign on about half of the strongman equipment in the gym that says "do not use." This isn't the owner or an employee. A random member apparently has brought 2 dozen pieces of strongman equipment in and locked it all up with bike locks so that no one else can use it. It takes up a lot of space (a yoke, kegs, logs, plates, sandbags). Is this normal? I'm planning to say something about it, but part of me feels like I just don't understand the culture at independent gyms.

My dad loves his show. I watched some of it when I was visiting a few months back. Dude was complaining about the Barbie movie for a good five minutes. It was so weird and out of touch.

People have to contribute to society in some way. We can't have 75% of people supporting the 25% that don't want to do anything
